Yes, I am a Horrible Person
God forgive me, DH and I just barely recovered from SS7's last visit and now here we are again. Only THIS time it should be even worse. We got a phone call saying SS7 had hurt himself. Sparing the details, he injured himself somewhere people don't see, by his own doing, and he didn't tell mom for two days, she happened to walk in and see. This child, according to DH, is so responsible and can take care of himself. This raises a whole new level of concern for me about this child's thought process and behavior. And now he will be coming to our home for a few days, where DH will treat him like his terrible behavior is directly related to his "owie" and let him get away with even more. It wasn't important enough to tell BM for two days but now it will be a constant source of pain to get DH's attention and sympathy and I will hear repeatedly how he feels bad for the kid. Yes, I am a horrible person.

How nice, you get to deal
How nice, you get to deal with a 7 year old attention whore for a few days...
NO! YOU ARE NOT A HORRIBLE PERSON!
I would be thinking and feeling ALOT WORSE if this were me... }:)
And DH says "help me watch
And DH says "help me watch out for him while he's here" thanks jackass, we just started getting along again after the last visit when I said I was the only one who was.
S.T.O.P watching him...NOT
S.T.O.P watching him...NOT your kid NOT your problem!!!
Best concept EVER
You married HIM not HIS kid..he created that kid with bm and therefore all responsibility such as watching, cooking for, cleaning up after, etc. is THEIR job!
Once you accept that and implement that I promise you...you will feel SOOOO much better and RELIEVED!!!
Ahhhhh.....
I am really trying to work on
I am really trying to work on it. It isn't as easy as I had hoped lol.
