Happy Halloween.

We don't have the kids (bm thinks she owns them and gets them ever holiday or has a hissy fit and involves the kids) so we will hand out candy and then head to a party. I wish everyone a stress free halloween.

Dawn and I will be handing out candy until around 7:00pm. Unfortunately we don't get many kids in our neighborhood. We live on a cul-de-sac and or some reason we just don't get much traffic.

After we close our doors, we'll be meeting up with friends for a few drinks before going to see Paranormal Activity at a local theater. I love scary movies but Dawn's not so fond. I'm still wondering how we ended up going to see a scary movie, but I'm not complaining!

It's my mom's birthday, so we're going over there to celebrate like we do every year. All the youngest kids will go trick or treating in my mom's neighborhood. This year will be the first year in a long time that I won't be trick or treating with my kids or grandkids or step kids. Kinda sad about that, but I will still have a great time. After we leave my mom's I'm hoping to come home and just relax. Big day tomorrow - have friends coming over and grilling out.

Me and DH bought masks to wear while we go trick or treating with our kids. I always put candy in baggies and leave them in a bowl on our porch with a sign to take one, cause we both like to take the kids around.

"I child proofed my whole house, but they STILL get in!"

We are kid-free tonight. Going to a Halloween Party at an Irish Bar.
