OT sort of-the kid who killed 4 people driving drunk
Did you hear about the plea agreement he got?!
It made me so frustrated. Nobody has held this kid accountable. Not the system, not his parents, etc. He at least should have got some time in juvie. I wonder if he feels remorse, or sympathy for the victims and their families.
He should've been made to at least do a few years in juvie and undergo counseling. And his "parents" should not only lose custody, but be paying hefty fines and sitting in jail.

I agree-hopefully MADD will go after the judge. If anything, the kid who got probation should've gotten the 10 year juvie sentence. The African American kid should've gotten the probation.

I want to add that this isn't 100% ot because so many parents and kids, including this kid and his parents, are out of control. We see it all the time on ST! Hopefully those with younger sks won't have to deal with said sks becoming like this kid! Hopefully their parents will wake up.
Judge Jean Boyd did not seek
Judge Jean Boyd did not seek re-election last year and her term ends in 2014. The sentence has not been given, the judge has held off as she wants to investigate the facility that the defense attorney suggested. If the program is not what it portrays itself to be, it will not happen.
This story is in my back yard. Everyone is outraged. MADD was interviewed and felt that a shock prison term of 6 months followed by treatment would be the better sentence to really hit home with the severity of this boys actions. Knock that "affluenza" out of him.
It frustrates me, why does this POS get a walk while other young people, of less privilege get more of a sentence.
