Am I doing the right thing?
Hello.
My boyfriend is physically abusive (he broke my nose a week after I delivered our baby, who lived for only a week) and I now hate the idea of having to take care of his daughter. He used to hit me before the pregnancy, but the abuse escalated during the pregnancy. He even said he hoped that I would lose the baby and (ironically), she lived for only a week. Now, his teenage daughter (who lives with her grandmother) is giving problems and I can't bear the thought of having her back in the house (my mother's house). He has disrespected me in her presence before. I know she's not guilty of abusing me, but I feel that since her father treated me so horribly before and especially during the pregnancy, then I have no obligation to her. Am I being unreasonable?

You need to leave him. He's a POS regardless of his daughter.
Welcome to the site!
If you have not already, you really need to make plans to get rid this abusive man. NOTHING and I mean nothing, justifies physical violence. He may claim you provoked him or any other reason why you "forced him" to hit you, it is all rubbish. Talk to your mother (as its her house) but I would advocate changing the locks next time he's out. Don't ever get pregnant with this man again, or he will have an excuse to pester you forever. I am so sorry you lost your baby.

The only unreasonable thing I see you doing here is remaining with this horrible, abusive man. Get a restraining order and put him out of your house.
Based on what you have posted here that child has not done anything to you. The feelings you have about the SD being in your home should be directed at the jackass you are in a relationship with.
Why is your mother allowing a man who abuses her daughter yo live in her home???? You may make the choice to remain in this relationship, but your mother sure as hell doesn't have to provide that MFer with a place to live.
You are doing the wrong thing by staying in an abusive relationship. There are womem here that will provide you with links to agencies that will help you find a way out of your current situation.
Please take advantage of that information. No one deserves the treatment you are receiving.
Get out before he kills you,
Get out before he kills you, too. This is serious.
