So Fustrated

Another annoying weekend because of SS15. So Saturday, SS15 decided he wants to visit grandparents house (because he gets spoiled there and gets whatever he wants and doesn't have to follow rules). Well DH said he would bring him for a visit later. SS15 didn't like that he wanted to go NOW, so he calls his grandparents to "tattle" on DH and asks them to pick him up now and that he is starving and we aren't feeding him at our house. So, DH has to get on the phone with his mother and explain they don't need to pick him up, we will bring him over later, and he can eat whatever he wants in the house he is just too lazy to make anything or ASK for something here, we aren't starving the poor kid. After this DH and him get into a huge fight, SS15 being his usual disrespectful self, I can't take it.

Finally after the fight once WE are ready to go, after cleaning all day without help from SS15 (after all he is the one home all week making most of the mess) and we stop for a visit over DH parent's house. They of course want him to sleep over because they are coddling SS15 and doing anything in their power to get him to stay and live with us and not go back home to his mother. Anyway DH decided to let SS15 stay the night, because he needs a break from his evil son, because even he can't take him, but he tells his parents there is one condition....."He can stay, but since he was so bad earlier and disrespectful, he isn't allowed to go to Game Stop and buy anything for his X-box" (that he kept asking for his grandparents to take him there). Anyway yesterday he comes home and proceeds to tell us his grandparents ordered him $250 headphones for his X-Box (he used some of his own money, but grandparents paid rest)! I was furious. DH calls his parents and says he thought he told him SS15 wasn't allowed anything for his X-Box and they have the audacity to say, we thought you just meant last night, not today!!!!

Well, DH is suppose to tell his parents today that they have to return them. We will see if that happens or is SS15 gets his way yet again.

And the thing that makes me even more mad is just two weeks ago my son was with my parents for the day while the watched him. DS10 brought his money with him and asked my mom to bring him to the store to get headphones for the x-box (he is being influenced by SS15). But my mom called and ASKED me first and I said NO. THat was a waste of money and DS10 can spend his money on better things, and I didn't want him having headphones in the house, PLUS I don't want him chatting on X-Box live which headphones are used for. So I told DH if our sons are living together they need to follow the SAME rules, and if just 2 weeks ago I told my son he couldn't buy headphones than SS15 certainly isn't bringing brand new $250 headphones into the home because that is unfair to my son when I told him he wasn't allowed to waste his money on something stupid like that.

But the fact of the matter is he wasn't allowed to even buy anything for hix X-Box because of his HORRIBLE behavior and he was being grounded, and had his X-Box taken away, but the grandparents just disobeyed our rules yet again.

I have the same thing with MIL and SD15. SD loves going there because they treat her like she is 5 and they take her shopping and out to her favorite restaurant. Fine, but don't exclude BD4 and DD10 and then have SD rub it in their faces!!

Yesterday DH was kissing SD's ass and bought her xbox live. He has been against buying it because she has free range access to the internet. He claims she will be fine. Ok fast forward 8 hours and she is now hogging the tv while chatting on facebook from xbox live. DD10 is having a fit because she can't play the wii or watch tv. I told DH he started a war. I am pissed. Then he hands her $60 on top of spending all that money for the xbox live which I don't want the kids to have.

SD wants to go live with BM's mother because living there she had no rules at all. SHe was staying out all hours of the night and doing whatever the hell she wants.

Now DD10 just asked me to take her to a jumpy place today and I said I didn't really have the money and she tells me that DH handed SD $60. Thanks DH!! This sucks!

Why are the headphones so expensive? SOmehow we have 2 of them, one came with the xbox.

Sounds like you know exactally what I am going through. I told DH that if SS15 wants to live with us he needs to follow the same rules as my son.

The headphones are so expensive because he wants BEATS by Dr. Dre, not regular headphones. He already has $70 headphones for X-Box, but he wants these special "noise canceling headphones," that he can use for his X-Box and I-pod. I think the headphones he has now are perfectly fine because when he has them on and you try to talk to him he can't hear you anyway, or pretends not to hear at least.

But I don't even want X-Box live used in my house. And at 15 I think he needs to be responsible with his money and shouldn't be wasting it on stupid headphones. Because he is always asking for stuff, like going golfing at expensive golf courses that cost anywhere from 25 to 50 a pop for 18 holes, so if he wants to do those expensive course he can spend his own money on that OR he needs a bike here because his mother wouldn't let him bring his bike up here. DH is really into mountain biking and wants SS15 to go with him, but he doesn't have a bike to ride so I told DH that is someething constructive to spend him money on, not X-Box. And I already said that during the school year no x-box or i-pods during the school week. So I don't know if he thinks I am kidding or not, but I am serious, DH10 has the same rules. So if he decided he wants to live with us this isn't going to be a picnic.

I still don't know his motive from suddenly wanting to live with us. I think he is running away from something, he isn't getting all the attention at his mother's house now that he has 2-year-old twin sisters and he is pregnant again. So he is running away, because he isn't getting as spoiled as he used to, and when he is at our house when he doesn't get his way he runs away yet again to his grandparents.
