MONSTER step-daughter
I have been with my husband for almost 8 years. When we got together my sd was only 3 & was tolerable. I have two kids of my own from a previous marriage & we have a daughter together. He has two kids from his ex. I also have a step-son that is autistic he is 14. I adore him! His sister is always very disrespectful & rude! Don't even get me started about BM! I bite my tongue so much I am suprised I still have one! Any & all advice how to deal with a preteen Monster would be helpful. I have a 15 year old daughter that despises her stepsister because of all the HELL she has put me thru! The sd has tried to get our daughter together to fall down the stairs & has done so many things to her I could write a book. I have always said if my husband & I split up I do not want our daughter around his other daughter alone. She is next level! Help Help!

Time for a scared straight
Time for a scared straight session with the brat. Sit her down and tell her in no uncertain terms that if she harms one hair on your daughter's head you will call the police and press charges. And there will not be ONE THING that her mother or father can do to prevent her suffering the consequences. Find some videos about what things are like in juvie. Never threaten that you will do anything to her. Make it all about the courts, juvie, etc.
Unfortunately with our courts today she'd have to brutally murder at least 3 people before she'd get more than a slap on the wrist. But she doesn't need to know that.
more to come
Preteen monsters become teenage monsters- I know because there's one in my house (SS although not married). Best thing I can suggest is to get the troubled girl into therapy. There's no magic bullet but I believe that gives the best chance at helping, and hopefully before someone gets hurt. Not a fan of meds to help deal with behavioral issues, because from what I've seen they're ineffective.

It sounds like your SD is a bully. You don't sit around and wait for a bully and their victim(s) to "work it out"
