Mediation

Anyone have experience in the state of MO? This was court ordered bc she alleged abuse, against me naturally. my FH desperately wants to resolve it thru med bc we cannot afford (financially or mentally) court. basically she tried to get full custody, supv visits and more CS. has since dropped it but parenting plan has to be revised thru mediation due to the allegation...basically the courts will not just let it go.
currently we have FSD every mon & thurs nite for a couple hrs (started bc BM wasin school those nites, has since dropped out)and EOW and pay CS (an amount agreed to by her when she was making less money in exchange for half of daycare costs)
we want: EOW only, keep paying around the same amount of CS bc we cant afford more. Trust me, if we could we would give her more to shut her trap. there have been several incidents during exchanges which is one reason to drop the during the wk visits...cut down on seeing BM and possibility fo confrontation, esp in front of FSD which she has done. also, when she starts school, currently shes 2 1/2, she shouldnt be going to bed so late and we would only have her for 1 1/2 hrs. plus, its extra running around for the kid, also BM changes pickup time on a wkly basis, etc. Now FH is saying he may have to get FSD during the wk one day so she can work and to get out of paying more money...like maybe if we watch her she will agree to not raise CS. My point is this: since when is he a babysitter? when did it become a good idea to exchange money for visitation? anyone have experience? and what exaclty is the obligation as far as daycare goes...is it CS PLUS daycare or is daycare included? please help
i know mediation is supposed to be compromise, but i feel like why should we when she brought all this on herself and after all she did to us? he just wants to see the kid and live in peace w BM leaving us alone. too much to ask?
