I hope yours was better than mine.

DH made a big deal about taking the boys to get a Mother's Day gift for BM last weekend. Then he made plans for us to visit MIL yesterday. We stopped on the way and got her bakery - all her favorites.

I got nothing but a "sorry I didn't have time to get you anything."

Whatever. I let it go, I didn't feel like getting into it especially because it's a trip 3-hour trip to the inlaw's house.

Oh and yet again this year my mom and sister couldn't be bothered to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. :? They get cards every year from me, and I call them too; Mom is coming over for dinner tonight and I'll give her a gift then.

Another awkward Mother's Day.
