So diappointed-almost to the point of despair. I did not get the job
They called this morning...and have filled the position.
On the bright side, my bff did call and tell me about another job, for the husband of one of her friends (optomitrist), so I ran right down with my resume. They said they would call next week with an interview time.
I tried calling the IRS to see how much H's tax debt is-he won't tell. Nor will they. Because it was from prior years, before we married, they will not give me the information. I know he knows what it is-they had to send him a notice 30 days before the garnishment. So I told him again-call them-now-and find out. He tells me to "stop nagging"! OMG.
As soon as he leaves and goes back to work, I'm calling an attorney, job or no job. If that a$$ won't even tell me what the debt is, I have no idea of what I'm facing. But I can get it out of my life forever.
Keep me in your prayers, all.

I'm sorry BW
I know how diappointing that is. You should call anyway. These things will work themselves out. You have grown kids, right? Can you stay with them?
I will keep my fingers
I will keep my fingers crossed for you to get the job for your friend's husband. Divorce him.. and make sure to tell the lawyer about the irs debt and his not telling you about it to begin with, and now him not telling you how much is actually owed.
I hope you get the new job,
I hope you get the new job, it sounds promising see as it is your friends Hs. I think it is a good idea to go through with the divorce now and not wait.
Not getting the job
is always disappointing... but when one door closes, another one opens. Just keep your head up!
As for your H, I can't wait for the day you finally set yourself free from this nightmare. That man has done nothing but make your life miserable.
You have and always will be in my prayers.
oh man!
I was really hoping you would get it! Maybe the one at the optometrist will be more convenient for you!
One can only hope!
I was hoping you would get it too!
Hopefully this job with the optometrist will be the one! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! You're in my prayers.
I'm so sorry!
I was hoping and praying for you to get that job. I'll just transfer those hopes and prayers to this next job. We're all pulling for you Bewitched!
Sorry to hear about the job. But ...... NETWORK, network,
network. Drop me a PM on where you are located and what types of skills you have and what type of work you are interested with and I would be happy to engage my own professional network to see if there is something out there that may work for you.
Keep in mind that only a very small percentage of available positions are ever advertised (paper, on-line, etc ....) The best way to hook a position is to network.
Good luck and best regards,
Soooooo sorry!!!
So bummed out for you about the job. But I do remember you saying the commute would be awful, so maybe the optometrist's office would work out better anyway? Keeping my fingers crossed!
I can NOT believe your husband continues not to tell you how much he owes the IRS -- and he tells you to "stop nagging" when you ask him to find out!?!?!??? I have to tell you, that is about the lowest thing I have read about a DH doing on this site -- and as we all know, there are a lot of low things to read about on here. Divorce that a$$hole.
Good luck on the optometrist's office job!!

Sorry dear
This may be a sign that was not the right place for you anyway. It is great to have the new lead though!! sorry too that DH is still, well, DH-!

Keep your head up
I agree with the previous post....it just means there is a better opportunity for you and if you got this job you would have missed the better opportunity. I know it is hard to look at like that but you will find something soon! Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers about the interview next week!! Keep us posted!!
God has a plan
that was not the right job for you - a better position awaits you. Keep your head up - You will get to the right place at the right time
I'm really sorry
about the job. (((HUGS)))
Sorry to hear
about the job. I know it sucks. The economy is really bad right now and there is a lot of people out of work, so there are tons of people applying for the same jobs. It's tough right now. It's like there is one position open and like 300 applying for it so it makes it really hard. Keep looking and applying!
Bewitched
I wanted to tell you this yesterday but my internet connection was interrupted because we are in the middle of a move, but I am so sorry you didn't get the job. I know how much getting it meant to you.
Hang in there kiddo. Something WILL turn up, it's just a matter of time (and the right job).
