Oldest SS has started bringing his car over to wash every other day. Now I don't mind if he washes his car here once in a while or even once a week, maybe twice if the weather turned out bad but we can't afford the water for every other day. Oldest SS is pretty good otherwise but I find this annoying esp. since H used the term it was "NO BIG DEAL" OMG those words set me off and bring flash backs of me being forced to endure youngest SS's bad behavior and campaign of hate. I really don't think I'm being unreasonable about this either but I might have to go slit holes in the hose when hubby goes to work.

Who in the hell washes their car every other day?? :? That is bizarre. I wash mine...pretty much never. haha.

He bought the car this year, a blue mustang, it's almost like he has OCD about it. He financed this car yet rents a dump to live in. His mother is OCD about the house, she wipes stuff over and over, I'm not talking about cleaning I'm talking about obsessing over it. I see signs of his mother in him with the car washing but I don't and won't say anything about that to hubby. Oldest SS is generally a good adult skid I am just annoyed that he'd rather wash his car here for FREE every other day and I was just laid off from work so were cutting back. With his last car he used to wash it once or twice a week and our water bill went up $20 a month and I'm ok with that. I just can't imagine how high the bill will go with this every other day thing, besides H keeps buying the car wash soap and I'm stuck washing the towels or smelling them stink in my garage.

Well at least it's only water and he doesn't live with you & DH. How about my 20yr SD & her baby just moved in with us rent free, cable free, chore free, utilities free, food free, washer/dryer free, and on top of that, I have to deal with a 4 month of teething baby! Trust me I understand your frustrations! Now all of that cause for a drink later! LOL....

And you should be, as my 20 yr old SD just had a baby in September by a low-life and you guessed it, she moved in! Yes, she goes to school and work part-time, but that's all she does. She leaves used pampers around, don't do any chores, lives rent free, cable free, utilities free, food free, washer/dryer free. My husband & I fight about this all of the time, because I feel that she should pay something and he doesn't! Good Luck

Try your hardest to NOT allow her to move in, its harder to get rid of them once they get in and if they bring crotch droppings with them it's damn near impossible to get them out, sometimes it's easier to get rid of roaches than it is to get a skid out

Tell oldest SS to go outside and do a "Rain Dance" from now on or pay up on the cost of water. Wink

Seriously.

I am trying to not argue with hubby over this because its really petty considering the stuff we've been through with his youngest. I'm just pissed that I'm being told to buy cheaper stuff at the grocery store (which I don't mind to keep us in budget) yet Oldest SS can just spray money away by overusing the water. I'll wait and give H a chance to say something to him but if this obsessive car washing doesn't stop I will take matters into my own hands

He probably shouldn't have gotten a mustang if he cant afford to take it to a car wash.

_________

BINGO my thoughts exactly. He also should have thought about renting an apartment that actually has its own (non-shared) bathroom

STBXH HAS a new Mustang and pays ( well, "paid"...) almost half a grand every month on it and a year later, it has NOT been washed...

No joke. I used to think to myself, "OMG. He is spending THAT much a month on a car? What about me and his kid?" Yeah...

They will be showing up with a tow truck soon. Do I care? NO. Mine is not brand new but paid for.
