Successful vacation with skids

SO and I went on our first vacation alone with SD15 and SDstb12. We went to California last summer but his mother was with us and I only stayed for 3 days. It was actually really successful! We rented a condo in a beach community. The girls had their own room and we spent a ton of great time together. SD15 and SD11 were helpful and nice to each other, and nice to me. In fact, they were begging for attention, wanting me to swim with them, search for shells, etc.

We were shopping and stopped in Starbucks and out of nowhere, SDstb12 said "CBCharlotte, I can't wait for your wedding! It is going to be so fun!" then started talking about all of the dances she was going to do (she wants to choreograph a hip hop father daughter dance LOL!) It was cute.

We dropped the girls off to BM1 Sunday night and I got this email from her this morning:
"SDstb12 could not stop talking last night about how much she loved her “house on the beach” where the living was easy, she could sit on the balcony, eat mini wheats, go out to the pool, go out to the beach, eat some more, hunt seashells with CBCharlotte, go back to the pool. She truly had a great time (as did SD15, but SD15 was in her own room). Sounds like the resort is one worth going back to!

Thanks for their cool spring break!"

All in all, I would say a success! Even SO chilled out and actually enjoyed himself. He's a workaholic and always stressed....it was good to see him relax and have some fun with his kids.

I guess the punchline is skids spilled coleslaw in the backseat and didn't tell us and now it smells and I had to get it cleaned! LOL they were begging to stop at Bojangles bc they were craving coleslaw. So weird
