Facebook and Instagram both are down. You are not hacked. Something with the servers, unless the techies on here have different info.

Some, yes. Restoration is patchy. I have two friends in the same area. One cannot connect to any of those apps and the other can connect to all.

My FB took a dump this AM. It won't let me log in at all. No big deal. I only check it maybe once a week. Mainly for my friends updates and a couple of groups I am in.

I can't change my password. I've tried a bunch of times. FB sends me a code, I enter it and it says "wrong code." Ugh - I should spend less time on it anyway.

One friend never receives the code. "Another Way" supposedly sends the code to the same phone that isn't receiving the initial code. Now it wants his ID. *beee*

And he received the first code 3+ hours after he requested it. Received the third code SIX HOURS later. Crazy. At least he didn't supply an ID or official document. *wacko*

My FB auto synched my old password when it came back up this AM. I attempted to change it via my phone when FB was down to no avail.

I will get in and change my PW from my laptop tonight when i get home.
