So I was not sure on SD16 comming to the party but with much discussion with my 2 boys i decided we would try it...BS21 already told me she starts any shit mom I will escort her and DH out of here!!! OK then....

So the party started at 1...DH and SD came at 10 to help me set up everything....She came into the house gave me a hug and then said what can i do? OK...I said well we need to set up the chairs, so right away she went outside with BS's and started setting up chairs. DH mowed the grass and set up the easy ups....I was making appetizers so i was in the house. SD came in about 1 hour later and said can i help you? Sure and we made food. DH and BS's went to get booze and ice and SD and I stayed in the house setting up the food. My parents came and my mom me and SD prepared food and chatted....SD told us about school and how today is her last day. She told us about her finals and how her junior year she will be more focused. Then she told me how therapy was going good and that she did miss being here but knows it will take time because of the way she behaved. Then she just changed the subject to how BS14 was getting alot taller, he is almost 6 feet, and how she cant believe it. Then my mom and I were talking she never interupted and just helped us in the kitchen.

The party started everything went really well. We partied till midnight and at 10 my son brought SD to grandmas. SD came up to me PULLED ME ASIDE, and said thank you for letting me come and sorry for everything....and she left...It was like another kid...DH said nothing about anything except that went OK....Yes it did lets hope it continues. i am not going to look way into this, I am glad everything went well, glad SD was a normal child this time but baby steps....

Now the test is comming. We have planned a camping trip awhile ago and its this weekend comming. DH has asked me a number of times what we are doing about this and if we will still be going all together. I have decided to try it out. But i told DH this does not mean a break through, it means we will go on the camping trip, BS14 is bringing a friend, BS21 is bringing girlfriend, and Sd16 is bringing a friend. I wasnt sure I was going to have DH come but after talking to my boys and DH and SD being pretty good at party i figured lets try it. DH and i talked Sunday and have decided lets try. He was very happy about it. I know this is a long shot but I need to start somewhere. We are a LONG way away from them comming back, actually I do not plan on it until she graduates High school and goes off to college, whether that be close or far. I talked to DH about this and he knows we are a long way away from that but we need to start somewhere....Might be a mistake but I am trying it....I am praying it does not bite me in the ASS!!!!!! I will keep you all informed on how it goes....Praying for the best!!!!!! :?
