Totally Annoyed...yet again
So I feel like I've been moaning and groaning about a lot of the same stuff when it comes to Ms. Perfect. But I can't help it, as I find myself once again justifiably peeved with her. Thursday was back to the same BS with the denial of phone visitation until she found out that Mic made a child support payment. Supposedly he was at a friend's house eating dinner, but it was a lie. Come to find out SS had been in the yard the whole time. Whatever.
Summer visitation started this week. Mic has SS one week on, one week off. Everything is changing around...you'd figure maybe, just maybe it's time to take a look at the paper work, right? Not Ms. Perfect. She dropped SS off early (AGAIN!!!! without so much as calling to make sure that someone would be here). Had she just called she would've been told that it is now Mic's responsibility to get SS, and it is her responsibility to get him (Lord only knows what time she'll decide to do this- she just makes it up as she goes along). As for the schoolwork, I had told Mic to tell SS that he needed to bring work with him, so that we could cover what Ms. P. wanted covered, because of course, everything else counts as "brain rot". And so she sent him with about 2 hours (tops) worth of work to do. It seems to me like either you want the kid to learn or you don't. I don't think that 5 minutes worth of math and geography (yeah, she didn't leave directions with that one...I don't even know what to tell him to do besides learn the capitals) per day is really going to do...but again: whatever.
She couldn't be bothered to even get him the new pants and socks for his All-Star game. Mic did that. Although she interrupted her terribly busy schedule to show up for all of 5 minutes. She hasn't been to any of his games for close to a month, and she spends 5 freakin' minutes watching him play.
I just pray that the case worker starts addressing some of our issues soon...this is getting ridiculous. By the way, SS won't be playing football next year. The reason, according to Ms. P.: He's too weak. Who says that to their own kid, honestly? Like her opinion is the end all be all anyway. "Oh we don't have to bother to read a court order, it was worked out with the mediator"...of course SS just called her the lady...but according to SS and Ms. P. it doesn't count unless it's worked out in front of a judge. This kid is going to be in therapy forever.

SIGH
I feel your pain. Why does it always have to be so difficult
If its not one thing, its another.
De inimico non loquaris sed cogities.
The ongoing games that bm's play is redundant and very tiring...makes you really hurt for the kids.
