That raggedy bitch. WOW. She SO does not care about her kids at all.

She shows up A DAY earlier than she told us and then plays some game, making us wait on her. She is staying at her friend's house- within WALKING DISTANCE from our house. AROUND THE FKN CORNER. She hasn't SEEN the children since JANUARY 2012. It is now AUGUST 2012.

BM calls DH: I'm here. I wanna say hi to the kids.
DH: I'm not at home. I'm picking them up from day care. Give me a chance to get home and give them dinner.
BM: Ok. Fine. Whatever.
[15 minutes later kids eat. DH texts BM]
DH: ok...you can come on over

(note...BM is around the corner...within walking distance. She can get here in 5 minutes to see her children whom she hasn't seen in 8 months)

We go outside and wait for about 20 minutes. He texts her again....

DH: Are you coming or not? [SD2] is going to bed pretty soon....
BM: I'm at my friend's house. Had you let me come when I wanted to, I would have. Plus I got hungry. I'll just see [SD8] tonight and see [SD2] tomorrow..........
DH: Nice to know your baby is a second-rate citizen to you. You have until 8:00 and you are not seeing them until tomorrow.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME...you have your CHILDREN waiting on you whom you haven't seen in 7 months and you are a 3 minute walk around the corner?!!!

(an hour and a half later she texts back)
BM: I'm omw now

It took like 15 minutes for her to come...BY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FROM AROUND THE CORNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TO SEE HER CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOM SHE HASN'T SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IN 7 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And she was like "heyyy guyyssss...." and embraced them like the babysitter who hasn't babysat since last week or something. It's terrible. No connection whatsoever. Hardly any emotion. She obviously has resentment toward SD2 because SD2 does not acknowledge her as her mother the way SD8 does and was reaching out for me the whole time BM was holding her. Her emotionless interactions with her daughters is enough to make you want to vomit for making people like her fertile. Me and DH were just facepalming the whole time during our supervision of her interaction. Fortunately. The girl isn't allowed inside the house per military order. Ahhh the joys of living on base. But now she has the kids for a week. FML. It's so hard.........even if they ARE around the corner. This sucks.
