My DH works shift work. I always told him that when he was at work SS never did homework orand stayed up all hours playing online. He never believed me. Even once basically said I was laying and "out to get the kid". Then he finally checked our online usage. Yup, sho'nuff kid is online well past one am. On a school night.

SS's excuse? He looked at the clock... But thought it said 11 so he "accidentally" stayed online. Rule is lights out at 11 , so that excuse doesnt even make sense, but DH believes it.

SD has been going to college now for 4 years, so you'd think she would be graduating with a degree now, right? No.

First of all, this is only a 2 year school, community college. Her junior and high school grades were so bad, 'because of divorce when she was 4-5', she could not get into a better school, but I am proud that she wanted to continue education.

The problem is she has spent 4 years taking the remedial classes she refused to study during her free school years. She has done well, but still will have zero to show for 4 years higher education??

H. continued to pay CS until now she is 23. Thankfully he is stopping funding her this fall (5th year community college). So far he has been really proud that she is on the 'Deans List', but to me that just proves that she could have done this all along, but was hampered by BM imo, but I am not allowed to say that. Whatever!!!!!
