I'm sorry if you've mentioned this but does ss know dh isn't his bio dad? This woman is very evil. She'll have really screwed up this kid good. She probably told him to call you guys.

I wish there was a way to put her a$$ in jail for all the damage she'll have done.

He knows. And yes, BM absolutely had him call. Please, he'd never come over voluntarily. }:)

SS14 is with us for Thanksgiving, yes. SS9 would rather have Burger King than spend five minutes with us.

I don't think she realizes the full ramifications of what she's set in motion. Giving up parental rights means NO dropping the kid off. NO help financially. No ANYTHING. Well, she'll get it eventually. If she can't count on the kid's biological SF for help, well, she shouldn't have slutted it up and gotten knocked up by him.

DH kept it very simple in his text to BM: "I will be picking SS up at 3:00 on Saturday so he can have dinner with us. I will not be seeing him on Thanksgiving." No explanation given. She doesn't need or deserve one. The only reason we're picking him up for a couple hours on Saturday is because DH's parents are coming and want to see him. They know it mat be the last time for a very, very long time. SS is NOT happy that he has to come, but tough noogies. DH will also be talking to him in private about the DNA test, but no doubt he already knows everything.

SS said, "You can pick me up at 7:15 in the morning and drop me off at 3:45. BM works 7:30 to 3:30. We pieced it together. Why else would those particular, very specific times be mentioned? She's not as slick as she likes to think.

DH didn't discuss Thanksgiving at all with SS. He said he'd contact BM about that, and he texted her that he wouldn't be picking SS up that day. He didn't explain anything to either of them.
