SD's Comment the other day...
I was on the couch and SD5 was sitting next to me, then DH came and told her to move because he wanted to sit with his wife... and he was like "that's MYYY wife" LOL... SD5 was like "but that's MY stepmother, i wanna sit next to her"....
I think that was cute... just thought about it...

"Sooner or later, everyone's bill comes due"
awwww....awww..
My SS constantly says things that makes my heart just grow for him. As you know his mom is nowhere to be found..he hasn't seen her since he was 2. One day we were looking at pics with my BD and there was a pic of him and his biomom. My daughter said "who is that?" to SS.
SS said "that was my old mom." He pointed to me and said "she is my new mom"
"He grew up in my heart, not my belly"
Aww

That was sweet
Hope that good feeling lasts for you during your lifetime in stepsville. I'm sure it warmed the cockles of DH's heart too. AAAaawww

Sometimes...
I have one of those "we have this cute little family" moments... and then BM calls and her ringtone (a dog barking)or SD5 starts talking nonstop about "my mommy this and that"... Then I am brought back to reality from the clouds of Lala Land...
