Woman, It's Just A Haircut!!!
I don't know whether to laugh or choke a b*ch. BM just threatened to take FDH to court OVER A HAIRCUT.
Saturday, FDH and FSS5 were working in the yard and FSS asked FDH to shave his head "like yours." FDH was in the USMC. He still likes to shave his head. He was reluctant to shave his son's head all the way, so instead he gave him a "high and tight."
Sunday 3pm, FDH brought the kids back to BM. BM remarks to FSS, "Oh, daddy gave you a haircut." And that was ALL she said.
Sunday 9pm, text from BM saying FSS has been up in his room wearing a hat all evening because he's self-conscious about his hair. She said that her son "is not a skinhead" and that if FDH does this again he will be taken to court and paying her court fees on top of it.
WTF.
Where does this lady get off saying the most ridiculous BS??? Does she KNOW how crazy she sounds???
I'm so proud of FDH though. His response: FSS asked me to shave his head like mine. I didn't go that far. Please stop threatening me.
FDH is not a calm person when BM threatens court. However, he did not succumb to her crazy. Thank goodness.
I should note, BM is a hairdresser. I'm quite sure that she and her boyfriend said a bunch of stuff to FSS to make him uncomfortable. He was perfectly fine with us all Saturday night and Sunday morning. FSS is sensitive though; if BM and her BF kept bugging him about his hair, then I'm sure he did feel uncomfortable with it. WTF is wrong with that woman.
1st - It's HAIR. It GROWS back, even if she didn't like the cut.
2nd - Court, over a haircut? GO AHEAD. Let's see the judge laugh at you.
What a bitter, bitter thing to do. Now FSS will feel uncomfortable asking his dad for something as simple as a haircut until he's old enough to recognize her crazy. UGH.

The constant threat of court
The constant threat of court is so stupid!! BM threatened this with SO when I moved in because I had cats :? She said SD is severly allergic and that I couldn't move in because of the cats. SO laughed and hung up. BM has two inside dogs in her small 2 bedroom apartment and she has always had cats. She just didn't have a cat at the time. She also chain smokes and exposes SD to second hand smoke. SO said if that crazy B tries to take me to court she will lose!!
We laugh about it now because since then she has gotten and then gotten rid of a cat but it was fine for her to get it because she would brush it and trim it weekly. LOL

Also, FSD10 did have long, beautiful hair--until October. Her grandmother took her to a salon and got it chopped to the shoulders. FDH was disappointed (he likes long hair), but he didn't say anything remotely negative to FSD because FSD asked to have it done.

I don't know. It's almost the 1st, so he will need to go by BM's to drop off the CS check. Plus, we're supposed to pick up FSD's chicken this week. So FDH will need to go there, but it's anyone's guess if the kids will be there (might be in school or with a sitter).

Don't you wish she would really try and take him to court over this so they could laugh at her face? In that case, I would like for us to take BM to court for giving SD5 such a terrible haircut last weekend. Poor kid showed up with uneven bangs that didn't even go halfway down her forehead and super short hair. DH and I didn't say anything about it but poor child! That combined with the too small highwater jeans and faded tee (in the cold) that the girl was wearing makes me think that BM is jealous of her own daughter being cuter than her or something. SD5 is a cute kid, but BM does a good job of making sure no one knows it.

It reminded me of the time something similar happened with me... I had just given my skids their standard haircuts (BM was the rat tail, mullet fan kind of white trash woman) and they looked fine and normal...THEN my younger SS (who was 5 at the time) put both silly putty and chewing gum in his hair!!! I ended up having to cut it out, but it was so close to his scalp that it made a huge bald patch, so I ended up taking my exH's beard trimmer and shaving his head! It was seriously the only option!!! It took all my willpower not to lose it laughing, but I held it together and did my best to comfort my SS and told him he looked like that character from Smallville (i'm not a super hero person, so I have no idea what his name was). After some tears, my SS kind of got into it and decided he liked it and although my exH wasn't thrilled, he was also kind of amused and we knew it would grow out pretty quickly. The BEST part was seeing BMs face when she picked up the skids!!! Knowing her, she probably would have let him keep that junk in his hair, but even though she knew I didn't really have any other option, she couldn't really do anything, other than fume. The most hilarious thing was that SS was the spitting image of BM and it gave us all an image of exactly what BM would look like if she had no hair!!! (round face, bulgy eyes, double chin and all!). I couldn't control myself and lost it laughing and she was ENRAGED. She actually told SS that he was ugly!!! I was pissed about that, but honestly it just made her seem like a really mean bitch (who tells their kid that they are ugly??!!! Even if it's true!). Well, it grew out and fortunately she didn't take that particular incident to her lawyer, although that would have been pretty entertaining for us since I got a kick out of her having to pay her lawyer every time she made a dumb complaint and got laughed out of the office... Ah, those crazy BMs!!!
