No vacation for skids?

SO has been telling SD17 and SS14, for a year, that we are going to FL for vacation. He still hasn't told them we aren't going.

Why you ask? He didn't plan it. Then when it comes down to the wire, he doesn't' want to spend the money it would take to have 5 people go. Now, I knew this was coming, but no one else seemed to. He even commented that its cheaper when its just me and him (even with a baby now).

I haven't said a word. One annoyance is him saying "i have to break my kids hearts telling them we aren;t going". Don't talk like that when you did it.

I see your SO is still being a schmuck! How about SD? Still a PITA?

Just don't stand behind your DH, grinning deviously at the SK's over his shoulder.

I was going to say the same thing...haven't seen in in a long time. Welcome back. My ex used to promise all kinds of things to the kids and me, and it was just me that knew they would never happen. I don't know why people promise things they know they can't come through with.
