Living with my husband and his 15 yr. old daughter. She has lived here for just over 1 year but has been here for wk. ends for 7 yrs.Made the decision out of the blue that this is where she wanted to live so we did all we could do to facilitate this. Its challenging as my sons are now much older and have left home. I thought I remembered how difficult teenagers can be and most of the time its ok. But she idolises her mum and although I think that was why she left, she stays there regularly. She de friended me and my husband from FB and it was fine, but now I've been told that she has posted negative comments about us/ me that others I know and all her family see. I've not seen these but have asked them to let me know if any comments are signalling that she's really unhappy. I know this sounds pathetic and she needs some where to vent her feelings. Removing FB is not an option and I understand the sheer dislike that teenagers have for their parents. How can I deal with my feelings?
