I asked a friend to go pick my stuff up from exFDH's. She said yes and she's getting it this evening. She said that she'll talk to me around 9 pm and I am so nervous to hear how it went.

You need to detatch yourself from caring about how it went. The man is a jerk. His daughter is an evil, mean, horrible, awful person. What are you hoping happened? What are you fearing happened? What can you logically expect happened?

I would be the same way you are being, don't get me wrong, but really does it matter? It's over right? Better things are ahead for you. It's too bad you cannot look for jobs on a new city.
