BM has no shame

Usually my mom texts me before she goes to work by 8am so I assumed I'd wake up to her text this morning. Nope, it wasn't my mom. It was none other than.... BM!! 

"Hi lady, hope everything is going good. SD has an orthodontist apt tomorrow at 330. Sorry for the late notice, can you take her after school tomorrow?"

The past few months SD has been telling us about her appointments on our time and when told that DH or I will take her, SD would say "no, BM said she has to take me and will bring me back after". Ok, whatever.

Before Thursday and the meeting with the principal on Friday, BM refused to speak to DH. Also, DH said Friday's meeting was a waste of time and BM and GBM were throwing SD's punishments out of proportion. 

So my first instinct was to text her "I am forwarding this to DH". No response, of course. Why does BM think I should be her messenger after her latest crap?? Thank the good Lord I start working in 2 weeks!

There is no way I’d allow BM to sidestep DH, just because she isn’t speaking to him. If you show her you’re going to allow it, she’s going to do it - often.

She is such trash. I don't understand why her twisted mind thinks I want to help her out at all. All SD has learned from her is take take take, no give.

Sorry can do that, already have something to do.  Should of given you more notice!  You should call BF to see if he can do that

I have a feeling that I love dogs did, and that’s why BM continually pulls this. 

I agree, block her. I know you like to help your DH, I love dogs, but is he really helping you in return by abdicating his duties off on you? And by duties I mean communicating with BM more than you should have to.

She’s going through the path of least resistance. If a BM thinks it’s easier to go through the girlfriend, she will especially if she’s still trying to get what she wants out of your SO who she’s simultaneously trying to give the silent treatment to. Their logic is baffling at best but there it is.
