SD15 is a spoilt brat
Hi everyone I am very new here. Many times now I got so stressed with my SD15 and also with my partner (SD father).
My partner has 2 children, daughter 15yo & son 18yo. I moved in to live with their father 7 months ago so I do not have experience living with them before.
SD & SS is a diplomat children amd they move to different countries quite alot. When I moved in to live with their father, SD & SS was still in Russia. Now they have to return to New Zealand because of the pandemic in Russia are getting worst.
I have no problem of them staying before. They don't like to stay together at one time. So if tonight the SD staying the SS will not stay.
After many nights I have them at home, I get to know them. They have maid to clean up after them whenever they live.
I have no problem with SS. But SD is a daddy's princess. As soon as she get to our home, she will take off her pants in the living room and sit on the couch with a blanket, playing with the phone (normal for teenager I guess) or watching movie... waiting for the dinner to be served.
I understand it's normal for teenager to be lazy. But just leaving the pants lying around in the leaving room is unacceptable.
Not only that, she left all the food wrappers, satay sticks, ice cream sticks, noodles cup on the carpet in the living room. Rubbish bin just a step away from the couch. Dirty dishes on the coffee table. I have enough of doing this all the time she was around. SD also will wake up after 2pm most of the time. She didn't do anything.
I told my partner that it is not my responsiblelity to clean up her mess, but he just said that I am complaining alot and she just a child. We ends up fighting everytime I raised the issue.
By the time I wrote this I left his home and told my partner I will be back if they gone back to Russia. I can't stand to be the invisible maid.

Welcome to the site!
I'm slightly confused - who is the diplomat - your partner or his ex wife? Why are they going back to Russia? Does exW live there? No matter whether they are used to having a maid, they should still pick up after themselves - to leave it to the maid is very bad behaviour.
Good for you for not putting up with being the invisible maid. Your partner is training his daughter to be rude and lazy by allowing her to behave in unacceptable ways.
Thank u for the reply. I feel
Thank u for the reply. I feel that Im not alone here.
Apologize for the incomplete info. My partner ex-wife is the ambassador.
I would take pics of the mess and message to hubby what issue
Was with the following message:
”fix this issue now!!”
it didn’t matter if hubby was in a board meeting or the ceo hubby would message ss22.5 telling him to clean his mess.
ss would reply “person didn’t know person had to clean” and hubby would reply with “well its not my wife’s job and stop being selfish and lazy”
As soon as she get to our
Dad should tell her to keep her pants on when in the common rooms of the house. Plying on the phone, watching a movie is normal. Taking your pants off in the living room as a teenager is not.
Yup! That's super weird! And
Yup! That's super weird! And really creepy
Keep your pants on.
And clean up after yourself.
Your husband is failing his children by failing to teach them BASIC life skills.
She is 15 not 5. She can do the most basic of things.
