so I was working on a piece two nights ago and got a nasty chemical burn in both my eyes! :jawdrop:

I was blinded and in agony, the mister carried me into the ER screaming...today my eyes are just well enough to read and write a bit so I thought I'd check in here.

I really appreciate the responses to my last blog. reading here has given me a good idea of what kind of stuff to watch out for in my relationship with the Mister and in situations with the Kid. I've taken time to think about my own boundaries and fears. The Mister and I had a long talk about our living situation while I was recovering from my eye burns; he says he would like me to live with him, since it would enable me to save more money for myself, and since he could support me if I was injured (how the conversation started)

but that there was no hurry to make any decisions, and I should let him know any of my concerns.

I told him I did not want to live full time or even half time with the Kid; it simply isn't my preference ever. He agreed and said that he also had no urge to do so, and that the CO they originally made states that if BM can't for some reason care for the Kid, he goes to her parents, with the Mister getting EOW still.

This was reassuring. When I go up to his house next he's gonna let me pore over the CO and divorce papers. So once I do that I will probably be all up on the blog here asking questions of you guys about specifics...this is all new to me.

again thanks so much. It meant a lot to read all those replies first thing after my nasty accident.

(they say it should only take a few days to heal- just burnt my cornea, no deeper, thank goodness...next time I will remember my goggles, no matter how hot it is outside!)
