As I mentioned in my last blog, my SD17 never stops snapchatting, so on the trip, I started researching it. Holy fricking cow! It is worse than it just being hacked last week. Keep in mind, in my industry I have access to information on companies that the average layman can't get. It was invested in an angel round of investing last year by a Venture Cap firm (VC). I work with PE firms, so I understand how these work. The VC firm, owns another company that is a data mining company. They bought into Snapchat to get that data. The prediction in the industry is that in 5 years, all these videos and texts that they are using in Snapchat will be accessible. The teens think they are gone in 24 hours, but the site is blunt that they own the videos and texts, you as the user do not.

They are saying that in the next few years, when you google your name, everyone of these videos will come up as a link and a picture. The actual site was created as a way to sext without your parents figuring it out.

My SD only uses this and is never off her phone. Seriously, my advice if you control your SK or your Bio's phone, delete the app.

My bio doesn't use it and neither does SS. Their comment was why? Gotta love boys...

I will be deleting this information in a day or two, so I can't be accused of anything, but I want all of you to know about this. Vine is basically the same thing, but has not been invested in yet, but Google and Microsoft are looking at it...

I love capitalism, but this is wrong and these kids have no idea how this stuff can follow them. Also, after spending the week with the SD from hell, what is the point of all the damn selfies?????
