The last two weeks have been hectic. Both boys in marching band, so their schedule is
Skid2: sectional Wednesday, practice Tuesday and Thursday with Game Friday night
Skid4: sectional Monday, practice Tuesday and Thursday with Game Friday night.

Skid1 has started college and her classes run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
BS: still in college his classes Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
BD still in college: Classes Monday Wednesday and Friday

Skid3 is still at ALC with us having to transport to and from Monday through Friday.

I think I am seriously in the process of buying a Saudi Sheik a new mansion with all the driving!!

All of the kids and skids are doing well. Skid3 is surviving ALC, keeping her head down, not engaging in drama and turning all her work in. Her teachers have even emailed DH telling him what a pleasure she is to have in class. Her reading teacher is concerned because she gave all the kids a grade level test and Skid3 is coming back 2 years behind. She has a tutoring session on Tuesdays after school that skid3 stayed for this week, working on comprehension and retention. I don’t know honestly if the child is that far behind, or if she simply didn’t try on the test. If it’s the latter I am sure she is regretting it as now she gets to stay after school one day a week for extra instruction.

For the most part the beauty queen is gone. No more comments about how gorgeous she is, no more seeking attention for hair/clothes/makeup- then again dad took all her make-up, hair styling items, accessories and she is limited to school uniforms for clothing: the monster might rear its head up once she returns to regular school but I am hoping she has learned her lesson.

I am so going to enjoy Monday!! A day off for everyone and I REFUSE to get into a vehicle and drive anywhere all day!!
