Well this weekend blew chunks.

Friday afternoon I threw ss18 out of the house, as in physically. His father will never allow him to return.

I got home from work Friday to find the kid smoking IN the house. I totally get he is 18 and “a man now” and legally he can buy smokes. Happy for you, however if “I” can go outside and smoke… everyone can. He was told to take his cigarette outside that there is no smoking in the house.

Apparently the poor little flower had a bad day and got his fee-fees hurt at school and decided that it was a good idea to take this bad day out on me. He exploded into an angry rant about how he is an adult and can make his own decisions etc. I advised him this was NOT a topic that was open to debate/ discussion to go outside to smoke. I then turned around to walk away from the attitude king.

My turning around and ‘dismissing’ him and his ‘rights’ apparently set the man child right off: He grabbed ahold of my arm, spun me around and punched me in the face. No major damage but let’s just say I will not be needing any eye liner or black, gray or blue eye shadow around my left eye anytime in the near future.

Game on. SS18 got his ass beat. There was no mercy. He is a “man” right? No reason for a mere woman to take mercy on him. Kid is more than 4 inches taller than me, outweighs me by about 60 pounds and is in weight training in school now. SS15 and SD16 did attempt to jump in and break up the ‘fight’ which then consisted of ss18 crying and saying “Ow.. ow.. don’t.. no.. ow..” and a bunch of other one syllable words that generally indicated he was not appreciating the lesson he was being taught… tough shit. You come down off the porch to play with the big dogs you best be prepared to get bit.

I tossed his ass outside the front door. No shoes, no phone, no car keys… nothing and locked the door then called his father and explained what happened. DH is/was fucking livid. I did NOT allow DH to call the cops. I could just imagine the cluster of DCFS getting involved again and another idiot case worker mentally mind screwing my husband to allow the kid back into the house. (Flash backs from dealing with SD19 at the same age). This kid is 18. Not a minor. Bye bye little man… go make your own decisions as an adult… supporting yourself because this step parent is DONZO.

To be honest, I have no idea where the kid is. He tried calling his grandparents from a friend’s house… only his dad had already called grandparents and aunts and uncles advising what happened so no one in the family will take his violent hostile attitude into their houses. The men in the family flat told him they do not trust him around their women. One of his buddies came over to pick up “his things”. DH gave him his uniforms for work, work shoes, three changes of clothing, his toothbrush and one jacket.

An hour later he is burning up the house phone: Where the fuck is his phone, his stereo, his (insert expensive crap DH and I bought). DH hung up on him repeatedly. He cannot even say his sons name right now without breaking something (snapped a handle right off a coffee mug yesterday morning without meaning to).

What is it with skids that when they make it close to 18 or to 18 that they lose their freaking little minds?
