Wow how time flies -- I just noticed that it is 51 weeks and 3 days since I joined Step Talk.

Last year at this time I had moved out of the ex gf's house and was wondering what had hit me. I now have a better grasp on it and my life is really good. Dated a very wonderful lady after the ex gf and learned a really good lesson about Skids.

If they don't want to change and their parents dont want them to change then nothing a step will do will change the situation. Except the step will suffer.

I am much happier now and my business is thriving and most importantly my daughter is growing and happy. Life is what we make of it. My daughter made the comment the other day that she wouldn't have changed a thing. She realizes how many problems the ex gf had and how serious the problems her kids had -- this is coming from a twelve year old. Somehow her mother and I did a very good job raising her.

Life is good -- actually much better now that I am not with a dysfunctional step family.
