Ss13 got out of school 2hrs early today...he did his normal hangout. Comes home and says "i have no HW, can i go ride my bike?"

Im like sure no problem.

But i had this "momsense"- its weird of him not to mention WHO he is meeting up with, usually he busts out some names on his own. So i go to the front door look out and there is a young lady sitting on her bike waiting for him. So like any mom, i open door, hi hello whats your name?

Lol ss13 is all yeah, we walk together sometimes...

Ahh girls so it begins... trying to hide her.

I try to know who he is hanging with, and normally he is not alone.

I get he might be shy about it, but girls are welcome here just like boys. I feel he puts this stuff on himself, these weird rules in his head.

Dh has never teased him about having a girlfriend, but he acts like he does.

One time he had a group of friends waiting out in the yard (it was 3 of them) i told them they could come in, the one said ss said only one was allowed inside at a time???

Uhhh who made that rule?

He is just so weird with his own rules. Im sure he thinks he cant be friends with a girl, even though we are not like that. My son has a best girlfriend- no shame in his game- he talks about her all the time- ss tried to make fun of him, and bs told him its weird you have no girlfriends..lol.

Ive alway thought it was weird his stories never involve girls from his school. Never. Like why are you so weird about it? Im sure he has been around this girl awhile, so why be so shy you cant even say "oh my friend s is waiting for me to ride bikes." No prob.
