SO again made Christmas happen of course at the expense of not paying our bills.
Kids were thankful, and so delighted. My dd wants to "die in these boots!" Probably the first brand new not used shoes I've ever got her. SO's ds loved his jeans, mine his new multitool, and SO's dd her monster high doll.
BM had been complaining she wanted her kids early SO said no and let her know she could get them when she was supposed to as he has a flat tire (I was taking my kids to the exil's and stopping by my aunts and uncles who live next door to BM)
I did a kind thing as exh, his gf, and her dd were at the exil's I went in to say high and Merry Christmas to everyone as I haven't seen them and their health hasn't been good. I hugged gfs dd wished her a merry Christmas and then tapped her mom on the shoulder hugged her and said the same, because I ment it. I may not like her as a person but she's trying with my kids and I appreciate that. I did NOT hug the exh that would of been rude, awkward and he really doesn't deserve it plus it would of been disrespectful to his gf.
Got home 10min after BM should of been there to get the kids I knew she was going to be late as her van still sat in front of her house when I left my cousins. She was over an hour late and was in her bf's car which means she was never even at her house she'd been in town the whole time and was still late, the woman who'd bitched about wanting her kids early was 5min awat and an hour late.
We get his kids back at 9 we will be there promptly at 9. She's gonna play a game I bet and be at her bf's, but I know where he lives it's in his arrest records and the kids have pointed it out confirming it.
I let my exh have our kids the rest of Christmas break they're not thrilled but were two blocks from each other and it shouldn't kill them to be parented at their dads for a week.
