A Two In One Post. Proud of DD5 and BM showed her true trashy side. :)
Lastnight we took all the kids (DD5, DS2, SD9) to see Santa at the mall and get pictures with him. SD gets in the car and says "Second time I'm gonna see him tonight. Cept' our Santa was at Nordstroms and it's expensive" DH and I knew how BM paid for that-she didn't, the people she's living with did. They took a "family" picture with their 5 kids, BM and BM's 3 kids. Anyway...
We see Santa, DH and I are in the picture too. After the picture with him is done, santa picks up our son and daughter and puts them on his lap and is asking them what they would want for xmas. BS2 shyly says "Cars and Legos" DD5 says "Just a Jesse doll." SD was standing next to Santa and pulls out a list. Wow. So shes reading off her list then Santa pulls out two suckers. He says "Oh no! I only have two left!...Who doesn't want one??" SD stands there with her hand out and DS looks up at me. Then DD5 steps back and says "I won't have one so [brother] can have one"
Santa gives DS and SD the suckers and smiles at DD. He reaches into his big bag and pulls out two more suckers. He looks at my daughter and says " Since you were so kind enough to give up your sucker for your brother and sister, you get two. You're the nice one" DD was so surprised! DH and I almost teared up for some reason lol I was proud of her. SD glared. Santa put his hand on my arm as I'm helping DS down and says "You keep being a wonderful mother."
Part two: We are on our way to drop off SD, BM changed her phone number again and DH didn't have it. We are pulling into the parking lot and BM texts him asking him were we were. DH pulls up next to BMs car and gets out and tells BM it would be helpful if she didn't have a new number every week and it helps to have the current number so DH can inform BM that we were 3 minutes late(He sent a text the the old number from last week). BM starts rambling about whatever she was whining about. SD crawls out and starts to get into the car. Before that, we noticed BM had another boyfriend with her and I blurted out "Another Boyfriend?!" I shouldnt have done that, it was an accident. BM is a whore and shouldnt have all these men around SD.

That is so sweet of your
That is so sweet of your daughter, gives me hope for the generation thats growing up now.
On the sd note, a list? sounds very ungrateful, she doesnt derserve anything on the list. just clothes this year. lol
Very ungrateful. She feels
Very ungrateful. She feels she MUST get everything on her "list" every year. She asks for things like a lap top, Android, Tablets etc. DH made sure SD didn't get much from us this year
Isn't it great how Santa can
Isn't it great how Santa can tell the truth and the kids can't bite back? Who will whine to their mother that 'Santa' was mean to them?
Good for you. I"m sure
Good for you. I"m sure "Santa" knew that SD wasn't being raised by you!!
So proud of your daughter!!!!
So proud of your daughter!!!! You've raised her well
Aww, I love that - your DD is
Aww, I love that - your DD is too sweet As for SD, she deserves nothing but COAL in her stocking this year...and the next...and the next...Then she'll know how millions of unfortunate kids out there feel when they don't get anything for Christmas! My SD8 is the same way, always only thinking about herself. This year, DH and I were planning on just giving donations in the kids' names to various charities, but of course, he let the guilt get to him, so we got the kids hockey stuff to use when we put up our backyard skating rink. SD's reaction..."Is this all we get?" ARGH!!! I could've punched her right there! Alot of people think that, materially, SKIDS suffer but in reality, they actually are given even more! DH's kids this year will be opening presents right until Monday - presents at our house, presents from DH's mom, presents from BM, AND presents from BM's mom :jawdrop: It's no wonder SKIDS are so spoiled and entitled!
I like that sneaky santa!
