OMG - SOMEONE IS IN TROUBLE AND ITS BM LOL
Months ago our BM started blackmailing us for more money, or she would go through the state department of revenue child support enforcement. My husband had always paid support, plus half of everything! Well back in Feb 2008 we got a notice that my DH paycheck was going to be garnished for another 75.32 per week for back support! Support she signed an affidavit that she never received, and of course we have been fighting this for 6 months while interest just keeps ranking up!
We I emailed the head person OVER THE STATE on Friday - he states back they have personally done a investigation, and we still have all these arrears, but he listed out what he was showing as unpaid. I very nicely thanked him for his time and and questioned what else do I have to supply. I have certified this stuff in now 4 times. Funny no record of it at all! He asked that I fax over all my copies and if I would not mind contacting my bank for a copy of a check that I stated paying direct for her signature.

BM is already a 2 time felon - I would think lying on a state affidavit would be right up there.
Oh let me add this cant possibly be opps I forgot about that check - there was 23 checks to her in 2008 alone -

This is so great - DH just received confirmation of them receiving our fax and email! Everyone in his office new our name - and one poor girl was waiting for a 72 page fax to come over before lunch

our bm too is lying to get state assistance and is pocketing our money, DH is making calls to try and rat her out to the appropriate authorities, and when he gets through i hope that hags world comes crashing down. Believing in karma is really what gets me through all this crap, because i know that eventually bm will get exactly what she deserves! Congrats on putting up road blocks to bm's crap!!!

I called and reported BM when she was lying to get state assistance. AS far as I know they just investigated and then denied her further help, but she never had to pay any back.
Now we know she's also committed tax fraud, but looks like nothing is going to happen to her there either.

BM did a similar thing to DH years ago. He as paying her rent, utilities and day care instead of child support. When he asked that he get to see his daughter on every other weekend..... she took him to court.
At that time it was found out she was receiving welfare, insurance and subsidized housing. They stopped her help and made her pay the money back.
