That is what my mom said to me when I got into this whole step thing. Sometimes people will say things thoughtlessly or maybe even mean well but it isn't seen that way, and people don't always agree with our points of view either.

I am not sure what happened, but I agree with Georgia. don't let anyone run you off.

We have all been reamed by one person or another. Personally, when it happens to me, I sit here and laugh. What's their worth to me when all they want is to be tacky? Not a damn thing, that's what. Why should it be? Stay, blog, and know that you have people that value your posts and advice. Nevermind the "others".

people should feel free to express themselves in a venue where they feel safe and will go unjudged. if you were judged, i am sorry to hear that. but consider this a great exercise on how to deal with stepping. same skills, just in a different light. life is always a learning experience and people are people. they come in different disguises with different masks, but no matter where you go or who you talk to, you will eventually realize that you are running into the same person over and over. better to learn how to deal with them now than later and save yourself alot of tears and heartache. i hope things get better for you on and off, this site.

sometimes the tone of a post may not be accurate or what the writer intended..although I am not sure what happened-
I love your blogs and appreciate all opinions - that is why I joined to express myself and to hopefully have people help me see another side I might not be able to.

don't go. I've been lurking in the shadows myself, so I don't really know the full story, but I have to say that I really thought Georgia said it so well about the opinions being like assholes....she nailed it and I don't think I've laughed that hard in months because I've never heard it put so well.
