She Said NO
So BM is supposed to have SD back for a weeks worth of time and then SD is supposed to be returned to DH for his July time. DH agreed that SD could go back early in July because BM was due at end of July. Now all of a sudden here we are days away from sending SD to her and still not a flight confirmation. (Bm is to buy this round per agreement) So DH asks her about it and she says that her doc told her that her baby could be here in less than 3 weeks so she wants to keep SD instead of sending her back and will send her at the end of July. DH asked what if then that the baby didn't come early and she said that she would just keep her then.
Well, that didn't fly with DH so he offered to have the flight that we have already paid for to the changed and just have SD stay this week and go back another week early in July in case baby came early. She said NO!! Went on and on telling him that he always got what he wanted and she always got screwed by him and she wasn't letting that happen this time, yadda yadda yadda!!
RIIIIIIGGGGHHHTTT!!! Let me tell you how DH gets his way....he will never have SD on her birthday. Ever. DH will never see SD on any holiday except the 4th of July and every other Christmas/New Years. How is this him getting more than her??? She can't let him have her week for her baby that she decided to have but she expects him to possibly give up ALL his weeks for her? Oh, and when it was agreed all this way DH didn't realize the out of pocket cost over CS that it would be and when we put a calculator to it is is just under 2K for a years worth of travel. BM has the burden of $500.00 and she thinks that he should pay more CS!!! He doesn't even have a change in the fact that he has SD for two months straight and still pays the same amount in CS to BM.
I don't get it!!
DH kept calm and firm. He said he was going to send her an email because he wanted her to have to respond in writing that she said she wasn't going to be honoring the agreemeent. Yes, a signed by the judge court agreement.
As hard as it is I say let her do what she wants. Not that I don't want SD but if she keeps her then DH can get her with contempt and the judge will start to see her for what she is that way.
My aunt told me today that sometimes the best thing to do is nothing. I'm thinking that this sounds good in this situation especially!!
