I'm new to this forum and thanks for letting me join! I have nothing exciting, new, or anything any of the amazing Step parents probably haven't read before. I am here to get advice, opinions an hopefully give ya'll some too. I am married to my best friend, my partner in life and yes, has included some crime }:) we've been blissfully wed for 12 years, but have been friends for over 20. I chose him knowing that he came with 3 little girls (4,5,8) and was quickly launched into a second marriage, wanting desperately to have just one child of my own, remodeling our new home together and having the new responsibility of "mom" duties every other week. WTF is wrong with me? So call me crazy still, I am living proof that mad, gut feeling love got me here, keeps me here and by repeating over and over to myself... they do grow up eventually. So the kids, the PSYCHOTIC EX and her roots,the master teacher...

Yes,I can give you her address to find on Google maps and you can personally meet the devil yourself! You can meet Lucifer in the flesh! Sorry, Overkill, but, they too fade further and further away. I won't say the nightmare is completely gone,but they are growing older (yay, baby fix visiting distant future grandbabies!!!), but anyways, BM completely abandoned all 4 of her daughter's (my 3 have a 1/2 sister who now lives legally with her "normal" for her side, brother and sister n law, thankfully). So fast forward to present and still paying legal fees for the aforementioned toxic people who just have to fabricate lies to cover theirs, things are finally getting more peaceful. Most the time. So there you have it, in a brief summary, of my experience as a Step parent.
