Shit is rolling down hill now.
Unsurprisingly, we did not have the scheduled phone visitation with the boys.
Since we haven't heard from them or physically visited with them (they were kept at least 100feet from us last night), I felt it was perfectly reasonable to call the non emergency police line and have them do a welfare check on the kids.

I will continue to ask for welfare checks every time we are denied contact with the boys. The sheriff himself told us to do so. And records are kept of the calls, so we will have them if we need them for court. The sherrif said he has had coupled do this before when visitations are denied.
