So...my actual 30th bday was July 3rd and don't get me wrong I had a great bday but if you know my family...30 is a BIG one and usually comes with some kind of surprise party... Well I turned 30 and nothin....no party, no surprise...nothin.... I actually saw a big part of my family that day and nobody gave me a card or anything... So, last night was my FH's bday and I invited my Dad over for dinner and cake and icecream and he actually brought my FH a card and two cases of beer as a gift. It was cool but after everyone left FH and I were talking and I say you should feel special cuz I didn't even get anything for my bday...so he spills the beans and says that I'm getting a party...they all just wanted to throw me off by not having around my bday... I tried to get it out of him when, where and all that good stuff but he acted clueless... That's fine I guess...he still wants it to be 'surprise' but now it's bugging me....when are they going to throw it and all the details... I'm tearing up now even thinking about it so I don't want to be a blubbering mess when it actually happens...know what I mean?
