Its my 25th bday today. Kind of a big deal for me, I think of it as being officially "grown up". DH was supposed to have surgery last week, so I didn't plan anything or expect him to. Well he backed out of it last minute (literally, he had the IV hooked up and everything). I didn't expect him to do anything big.

I also didn't expect him to not do anything either. He didn't get out of bed until 11. He fucked around the garden til 2. We left to stop by MILs to pick up the post office notice since my mom mailed me a package to her house. We picked it up and came back where I guess MIL is cooking, even though he picked up steaks. We were watching TV when I asked to watch something different. I can only watch so many NCIS reruns. He gave me the remote and got up to go potty, or so I thought. After a while, I went to look for him and hes upstairs watching TV. What the fuck ever.

So we'll probably eat dinner and go home where I will continue to take care of the twins, put them to bed and struggle to fall asleep while he watches a movie or something.

Is this what its like being a grown up? Screw this, I wanna be a Toys R Us kid. They have so many toys I can play with.
