OT-My 74 year old Grandmother is a bada$$
Every year for as long as I can remember my grandmother has delivered a flawless Thanksgiving meal. This year, I'm cooking my first Thanksgiving meal, which I've pre-prepped most of today because I can't imagine doing it all in the same day and she's like "I'm just chillin". I've called her like 80 million times and she's like yeah, I'm thinking about putting a few things together-and she's serving 2x more people than I am.
I home I'm as chill at Thanksgiving at her age. Shoutout to all the Turkey Day QB's ya'll the real heros.
Happy thanksgiving STalkers!

Go gramma! I can't imagine
Go gramma! I can't imagine doing it all on my own. I'm sure she makes dessert too!SIL is hosting this year because we hosted last year since my mom was in town. We are deep frying a turkey and helping with appetizers- the rest is taken care of. Happy Thanksgiving to you!
It's something about those
It's something about those grandmothers... they can go into a kitchen with bare cabinets and whip up a feast! I have nothing but admiration for that. If you ask her for a recipe, beware though. She'll leave out an ingredient or two and you'll wonder why yours was never as good as grandma's. All a part of her plan.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
Happy Thanksgiving,
Happy Thanksgiving, mommadukes!
When I was young, I was always fascinated by Mom and both of my grandmothers' abilities to have multiple items cooking at different times and see it all finish together and end up on the table in a wonderful feast. I am SO thankful my Mom taught me how to cook. It baffles DH how I make it all come out at once. Family secret...
I'm still trying to master
I'm still trying to master having everything hot and ready at once! The one thing I've got down to be done at the same time is biscuits and gravy with eggs. I haven't tried adding potatoes to the mix yet lol
