Eating Noises

Momof6WI's picture

Anyone else see red when people eat loud, with their mouth open, smack their lips, etc.?  It is even worse when it comes to the skids!

Last night I said to SD11 "Weird fact, if you chew with your mouth closed, no one can see your chewed up food or hear you eat". I couldn't help it. *lol*

Also, if you chew with a closed mouth, you minimize the risk of inhaling a bug and chewing it.

One of my dogs has allergies. Him licking his paws would wake me up at night. Drives me nuts. Luckily, doggy allergy medicine helps him.

To the fullest that it's not only a disgusting  but such bad table manners! My SS10 hasn't done that in awhile, but his table manners are still the worst! He slouches on the table with his elbows on the table and hand on his head, eats with hands when there are perfectly good and clean utensils in front of him. Given he uses his hands, SS has a bad habit of twirling his hair (just started months again, twirls hair constantly) but he twirls his hair at the dinner table and with the very same hand he uses to eat!!! So not only are his hands dirty but now he has  food and greasy hair because of it! I tell him to not do it because he's getting food in his hair, does DH care? NOPE- he never says a damn word! LIKE YO IDIOT YOUR SON HAS THE WORST TABLE MANNERS AND YOU JUST IGNORE THE SHIT OUT OF IT VS DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!  Now, I learn to eat last because I can't stand to sit at the dinner table with SS here.

I've been telling SD11 at every meal for the last 3 years to chew with her mouth closed and every time she says in a hateful tone "I am." Um no you're not I'm looking right at you and can see and hear that you're not. It's ridiculous

Just reading the title of this post gave me flashbacks and I almost gagged at the thought of the sight and sounds of formerSO's kid eating.

That feral thing was so disgusting eating..with his hands, of course. Slurping and sucking food off his hands. So nasty. Bleh.

We have to constantly tell ss5 to eat with his mother freaking fork or spoon.

OMG I cannot stand hearing people eat, especially when they're sloppin' & smakin' with their mouth open, for all to see/hear.
