Have you ever paid attention to the "Who's Online" numbers?

To the right of your screen it has a who's online area, currently it says 52 users and 116 guest. So who are these guests? Has anybody ever gotten into any trouble because a bm, DH, or Sk found out what you were saying online?

Why are these people not signed in? DO they find our troubles funny, or intresting? Just wondering....... :?

I was a guest for a long time. I would say most of them are searching for something and find answers here.

It took me a year to join and post my own question.

I don't know why it took me so long. But I doubt there are many people laughing at us. I think most of them really need advice and to not feel so alone.

I would guess some of them are probably members who don't post much or at all, but they just aren't signed in, too.

Or they searched google for something and it led them here! Smile

Sometimes I'm a guest when I'm logged out and just checking posts. I don't want to leave myself signed on so that SO finds this.

I am not sure, but I do know that a poster here, found out that her DH was posting about their situation, but he was twisting it all around. Last I saw, she was debating on calling him out. Not sure if she did, because I don’t follow the forums very much.

Yep, i've seen it happen to a few people on here. DH found account and they had to delete everything and create new usernames. There are a few who have come close as well.

Yeah, she called him out.

There was also the girl whose skid found her on here.

The girl whose bf (?) found her on here.

And I'm sure there were a bunch more.

Just be careful is all I'm saying.

I was a guest for a long time before I became a member. I wasn't laughing at all, I actually felt much better reading. I was just a bit apprehensive about posting.
Also, sometimes when I'm on my BB, I don't realize that I've been signed out, so I'm counted as a guest then too.

I have been a reading this site for a better part of 2 years. I don't know why I've never registered or posted, but have found a lot of great information and comfort in knowing there are other people that are like me. I guess I'm a friendly stalker Smile

sometimes I read, but don't sign in until I find something I'm going to post a comment on. sometimes I stay logged out so that I don't accidentally stay logged in and have someone get on the computer here at home and see where I've been and find my user name, etc., and get busted for coming here!! :jawdrop: It's my safe zone for now. Smile
