I read on here about how some of you end up with full custody of the skids. I always kinda cringed thinking oh not please not me }:) Well Saturday that is what happened. SD came up to me it was BM's week but we were at a family party and said I want to go home. I was kinda confused I said ok to your mom's?? she said no to your house I don't want to go back to my moms :jawdrop:

Turns out BM's druggie BF has been around causing trouble SD called the police and BM covered for him so he wouldn't get arrested so SD told her mom she was done and not going back until her life was straightened out. I was shocked and proud but also very sad for SD to come to that conclusion on her own.

SO immediately texted BM and said SD is staying with me. She didn't respond til Sunday morning and said some BS about how much she loves SD and for him to tell SD she will get it all fixed. SO said I will tell her but she is staying with me permanently she is not living in that environment anymore. BM responded with her attitude saying I don't think so blah blah, he just said she isn't going back until you get your life together. Not a word from her since then.

Next step is court he is stopping the CS immediately and since they have a private agreement it will be up to BM to take it to court to try to get CS again but without custody she won't get anything. We are pretty confident he will get full custody at least temporarily. BM is terrified to go to court because she abuses alcohol and prescription drugs and SO will demand a drug test and she will fail. So one day in and its good so far I am not exactly thrilled to be a full time SM but I knew this day was coming because BM is worthless. SD seemed happy and content but I am setting up a counseling appointment ASAP to help her deal with all of this. WOW how everything can change in an instant :?
