I didn't move to Florida to put up with 45 degree weather in Nov.

Guess all the snow birds can go back home now. It's freezing down here too. Wink

Plus Side...Maybe some of the darn Mosquitoes will finally die off.

Don't worry, it's always in the 80's on Christmas Day. One day of the year I won't mind the cold just to make it feel more Christmas like.

I hear ya. Way too cold for November down here. Makes me wish I had heated car seats. And can you really drive a car WITHOUT the AC on????? :?

I understand your feelings...but try living here in the midwest! Yesterday morning it was a whopping 9 degrees!! My SD17 moved to Florida with her mom and is constantly bragging about the warm weather so occasionally I don't feel bad when y'all get into the 40s and 50s..gives you a dose of what we deal with regularly lol Smile But hopefully it warms up for ya soon Smile

LOL, My parents are in Ohio (where I grew up) and I love calling them in the winter and bragging.

But sometimes it's too warm. I put sunblock on last year to hang christmas lights because it was so hot out.

LOL don't get me wrong, I (born and raised and still live in Illinois) get jealous of the Florida weather..but occasionally it seems like a little justice is served when everyone is equally cold Smile I'd even be happy if it was 50 degrees here during the winter..i don't think i'm ready for a repeat of last year's polar vortex..i don't even think Florida would've got me warm enough..i'd have to move to hawaii...or a volcano Wink

BF has lived in Florida his whole life and "wishes" he could live up north and see the changing seasons. Yeah, until he's scraping his windows at 6am freezing to death.

I just got back from there yesterday Sad I would still rather have that than what I came back to. 18 degrees and snow. Blech. When I left there it was 82 and sunny. I miss my flip flops already.........

I know we can't complain compared to the rest of the country, but this weather is really unusual. AND it rained all summer.

End of the World weather.

mommy0104's picture

I can agree with you there "End of the World weather" because here in Illinois (probably much the same as your home state) it's pretty hot and humid all summer long...and just this past summer it wasn't really all that warm..including several 70 degree days (id welcome those temps now but in July its very unusual.) This time one year ago there were tornadoes and warm weather yet the very next day the snow plows were out..and this year we've already had our first measurable snowfall and way below zero temps..so yeah..end of the world is near Wink

I'm in New Hampshire (was Vermont up til a few months ago) and I love love love the changing seasons and even the snow (especially for Christmas), but I loathe the coooooold! I might have to book a flight to Florida this winter for a little thawing out period. LOL

Same here with the snow birds. Hello, why do that have to be out driving at 6:30am when I'm trying to get to work. Where are they going? They should stay home at lunch time and close of business as well.
