SD has been here almost 2 weeks already! Really don't have anything to complain about so far and SD has been home with me during the work weeks until camp starts Monday. I am looking forward to camp starting, but I feel like I would feel that way even with DD because it is just distracting and more on me to balance while I'm working my full time job remotely. Smallest complaint I would have is SD just definitely lacks urgency, but that just means we have to adjust to make sure we give her ample warning before we are leaving the house and/or if we need to do something quickly. DD is just 11 months so she just doesn't have the patience for us to be so laissez faire about everything. 
 

However, that's not the positive reason I am posting. Today, SD and I were teasing each other back and forth like we do. I told her that she is so dramatic and how I am not dramatic at all. SD fires back "well we are related so you have to be dramatic too." I just told her that it skipped over me as my response. I felt good that SD sees us as related when we are only related by my marriage to her dad aka DH, but in her mind she doesn't see it that way. Sometimes I have wondered if I shouldn't do all that I do or care as I do, but then we have a moment like that which just reassures me. I will take the positivity with her for as long as I can because I know eventually it could change.
