Why Lie?

Does anyones BM lie about stupid pointless stuff?

It seems like every week we find out something stupid BM lied about. She says she takes the skids to some event, skids say they never went. She texts about movies they don't see or restaurants they don't eat at. She makes up phony conversations with teachers and acquaintances. What's the point?! We don't ask what she does with skids, yet she lies about dumb things.

oh yes! same thing...endless lies and even her kids say "you no mom lies" How sad. What is the point? If you figure it out let me know. I am speechless most of the time when is comes to the BM.

smtotheloveofmylife, Oh my, my skids are known my name in our area at all the places the eat out at. All they do is eat out all meals. Mom never cooks and I mean never.
so unhealthy and it makes them very very picky eaters.

Yeah, BM3 does it all the time. In fact I busted her being a lying hypocrit recently and completely cut her off. It wasn't about anything big and I doubt she knows that I know the truth. We live in sort of a small town and I've been here for a long time, so we know a lot of the same people, but she doesn't always know she's talking to someone who knows me and knows who she is.

I'm the kind of person that doesn't say a word when that happens. I just file it away. She has stood right in front of me and lied so many times about stuff that I knew better on, and I just said "oh, really? Wow."

But I'm done with her. She can deal with DH who is literally "out of sight, out of mind"

Oh yeah. Our BM does it too. Makes her look good to everyone. I think she wants people to wonder why DH left her. She forgets how many people really know her

ALL THE TIME..
she lies, harrasses us, bullys us, threatens us,,
and yet somehow we manage to find the humor in the stupid stuff she says and does.. she makes herself look sooo damn dumb,,
I carry the health insurance on my SS, last summer she called in a PANIC, SS was in PAIN,(ear infection)she was at the Pharamacy and her card wouldn't work.. I didn't understand why it wouldn't work, she just kept saying "it wouldn't work" after a min. or two of auguing with her,she put the pharmasist on the phone,, I asked again "what do you mean the card doesn't work?" the lady softly whispered in the phone "mama,, she doesn't have it with her".............if I could of jumped threw that phone I would of..

well bm lies but not about things with the kids. she has been pregnant for the last 4 years. Like when she found out that i was pregnant she magically became pregnant again..lmao idk y she does this maybe to retaliate with bd idk idc and she lies about men marrying her and blah blah but she has proclaimed herself as a bad mom subjecting the kids to various strange men and other things so she doesn't go there...YET!

My mother lies about pointless things. I think she does it because the truth is way too boring for her to deal with so she comes up with this cock a maymie story. She is all about manipulating people to see her point of view.

As for your BM, talking to teachers makes her look involved and concerned, eating out makes her look social and braggy. Why she is just soooo much more important when she creates this fantasy world...see?
