SS16's other mothers, his older sisters
SO's adult daughters have not spoken to him in years, until now. SDs (twenty-somethings) are basically BMs little brainwashed soldiers who have treated him pretty badly, things like going on facebook and calling their step dad their new "daddy," knowing SO would see it. And then calling SO by his first name, rather than "dad."
SS23, the oldest daughter made two 8 hour round trips to drive SS to college visit weekend out of state, same school that SS23 attends, middle sis came along. Sisters bought SS a bunch of new clothes the same weekend, SS came home late sunday night wearing a dress shirt, slacks and a tie. Funny as hell. I could tell SS23 wanted to show off to SO what a good mother she is to SS. She's a cute gal, bubbly, very outgoing, would not come in and sit down to visit though, just stayed in the foyer. Still better than not talking at all, though. I grinned as I heard SS23 giving advice to SO and that SS16 needs to spend more time practicing his driving skills. Basically SS23 is just a mini version of BM. Although I do think it's nice SS23 is trying to reconnect with SO in her own awkward although slightly manipulative way.
So that's when I realized if SS16 goes to college where his sisters live, he doesn't stand a chance. He will forever believe that women were put on this earth to baby him. He already has the emotions of a 10 year old. And now I know why. SS16 kind of betrayed his sisters a little by choosing to live with the enemy, their dad full time. And now I feel like they are getting a little turfy with him. But in the end, it's good they're reconnecting with with their brother, even in their own awkward way.
Anyway, not my kid, not my decision, but definitely some interesting things I've observed. Kind of feel bad for all three of the kids, um not that bad, they're kind of bratty.
