I was talking to DH about how I am already bummed out about Thanksgiving. My family and I aren't on the best of terms right now because they hate DH. This year is also my bio's year to go to their dad's house. So, the thought of Thanksgiving just kind of is making me sad.

Anyway, DH was talking to his mom who offered to take SS with her to New England for the holiday and then DH and I can plan a little get away just the 2 of us . I am loving the idea of skipping all the family and stress and playing fake just to appease everyone else and having a nice long weekend of adult time!

Anyone have any ideas on where we could escape to for a 4 day weekend? We live on the east coast, mid-Atlantic region.
