Hi am brand new to this site. I was searching last nite for some advice on how to deal with my negative emotions towards my stepsons. I have been married to a wonderful man for a little over a year now. We have been together for over 4 years and have known each other for almost 6 years. I always knew about his relationship with his boys. In fact he was still living with his ex when we met! But we were just friends. After a while I grew confident that nothing was going on with them. He truly couldn't stand her! Anyway in the beginning things were ok with the kids. At the time the older one was 8 when I met him and the younger one was 3. I liked the older one a lot. He was very adorable and sweet. And he liked me a lot, he even developed a crush on me LOL. The younger one was a little different. He was always a problem child, but I was more tolerable of him back then I guess cause he was so young. All in all I liked being around the kids, but only really if my husband was around. When those two were, together they would fight too much and things have gotten so much worse between them.
