Just because I don't fall prostrate upon the ground...

in worship and awe, does not mean that I don't love SKIDS. No, they won't be getting any red carpet arrival or marching band welcomes around our house when they show up for visitation, but they are treated with respect, they are well-taken care of and they get a lot of much needed attention that is lacking in the home of their BM...so, no, I don't want them around all the time. I don't cry when they leave, I don't buy them useless junk that that they don't need and I will definitely discipline them when they need it....hmmmmm....

I feel that sometimes people forget that even bioparents have frustrations and need breaks from their kids as well. Mine did }:)

LOL!!! Hey - just because I love my skid does not mean that I fall prostate on the ground in worship and awe! There is a lovely balance of love, caring, and discipline that on good days is achieved and on bad days leans more towards time out (for me, at the mall, not Skid) LOL.

I think a lot of people have this misconception that if we aren't comatose from misery when SKIDS are away, it means we harbor no love for them at all. While for me, it's not the same kind or degree of love that I have for my BIO's, it is no less, still love.
